Do Follow Comments

Google Inc.Image via WikipediaYou may have noticed the Do Follow logo in my site and the Do follow Blog Roll. So what is this do follow thing all about. Well in a nutshell the default settings for both word press and blogger is to spot search engines from following links in the comments sections of your post. That means if people leave comments it adds nothing to there Google or Yahoo rankings. If you modify the sites to be do follow friendly the search engines will spider threw to find the links from those who have posted comments.

I have modified my site to be Do Follow friendly for comments and so have all those in the do follow blog roll. This will help make people more willing to leave comments on your posts and with the "D-List" make more people find your site. You can always delete comments from spammers. Instead of restating less eloquently what some others have already posted here are a few helpful links about the subject.
